- Trebah Gardens - a few minutes drive or a 20 minute walk away, are the beautiful sub tropical gardens which lead down to Trebah's private beach available to those who visit the gardens. The renowned 26 acre gardens are reputed to be in the top 80 in the world. Open all year.
- Glendurgan Gardens - similarly within walking distance these are spectacular National Trust gardens running gently down to the Helford river at Durgan beach
- National Maritime Museum, Falmouth - the acclaimed new museum sitting on the edge of the water in Falmouth harbour. Interest for all ages and many exhibits.
- Pendennis Castle, Falmouth - 16th century castle built to defend the entrance to the deep natural harbour of Carrick Roads and Falmouth.
- Helford Passage - Boat Hire is available on the Helford, including sailing dinghies, motor and rowing boats. There is also a foot ferry from Helford Passage to Helford Village and another to Durgan and Trebah.
- National Seal Sanctuary, Gweek - A home to rescued seals
